Anne Cherney has 19 years experience in educational, technical, and business publishing. She has been a developmental editor for the Glencoe division of Mcgraw-Hill. While there she edited the first after-market title on Windows 3.1. Additional experience was gained at the Tivoli division of IBM, in smaller software development houses, and in businesses whose documentation needs benefited from her knowledge of web site creation. In the course of her career, she has worked on projects at the elementary, middle school, high school, and post-secondary levels. Her publications list shows she has edited 40 books and 36 software manuals, written 26 software manuals, and acted as a project manager for another 17 books.

Anne is a trainer who has taught sophisticated software systems to users. She also has designed a significant amount of software training materials.

Her leadership and management skills have been proven throughout her career. People who have worked with her always remark that she has a calming influence on team members during difficult projects.

She is a graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in History and a minor in English.

David Cherney has 14 years of technical writing experience.

He is a seasoned instructor with considerable course development experience. David has been trained and certified as an instructor by the Department of Defense, Naval Education and Training Center Instructor Training School in Newport, RI.

The American Society for Quality has certified David as a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and a Certified Quality Auditor (CQA). During his quality assurance career he designed two quality management systems. One of them produced goods and services worth $100,000,000 per year. His background includes an extensive knowledge of configuration management, which was one of his principal assigned duties while employed by the Department of Defense. David's experience was gained in the aerospace, defense, and consumer goods industries.

He is extremely computer literate. While employed as an engineer, he acted as a database administrator responsible for three information systems, and he has earned two IT certifications, the CompTIA A+ and Network+. His experience with the Linux operating system goes back to 1998, and he recently submitted his first article to a major U.S. Linux magazine. This Linux experience is also being used as a "beta tester" for an international Linux magazine published in five languages, where he provides copyediting services, as well as suggesting and reviewing article ideas.

David earned a BSBA from John Carroll University in Cleveland OH, graduating with a major in Finance.
