Our capabilities are magnified by our local and national networks of experienced professional writers, editors, and graphic artists. We can successfully complete large projects using a virtual team if the effort exceeds our in-house capabilities, and we always provide cost effective, personal service. The Baird Group can take the place of in-house staff, or augment your staff as required. We welcome long term relationships with clients who have continuing but intermittent needs.

Many local companies have quality management systems. Maintaining the documentation requires considerable effort, and this is especially true if the system is registered. What happens if a critical employee becomes unavailable for weeks or months due to a personal crisis? Or where do you find an extra 15 hours of effort each month? One of our company principals is a retired quality engineer with two quality assurance certifications.

We have significant experience in the publishing industry. One of our principals is a former editor at a first-tier textbook publisher and we work with production houses on a regular basis.

We invite non-profit organizations to seriously consider us. Our family has a long history of active involvment in our local community. We have current leadership responsibilities in local non-profit organizations, and a strong desire to serve the greater good in ways not currently available to us. David is a member of the Executive Committee of the Northeast Ohio STC chapter, and a member of the American Society for Quality.

Our company is located in northeast Ohio and a member of the Greater Akron and Wadsworth Chambers of Commerce.

Our office is furnished with the range of equipment and software normally found in a company technical communications department. Our four computers were replaced during the summer of 2008. Two laptops are available for use at client sites. Our 1 TB file server is backed up to an Internet-based data service to protect client data files. Three of our computers run more than one operating system so each machine has an on-site back-up. Our computers run Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Vista, Ubuntu Linux, and Apple Mac OS X Leopard.
